  • Learn about weather (Extreme Cold, Winter Storms Emergency Preparedness); I learned to control myself in a normal environment; I learned that IPSII helps the community in a great way; A leader is someone who will stand up for what’s right; On Eagles Wings teach the teachers, ems workers and law officials; I am gonna learn a lot from the class excited; I learned how to open up more about my son disabilities; I learned a leader is someone who isn’t scared to speak up for people with disabilities and leading them in a good direction; I learned that IPSII Inc. is a company that’s here to help other families get through their situation with their loved ones; I am enjoying everything I learn.

  • Comments: A leader makes other people do good; It was a really good day! We went to the place that was nice; I learned that [system change] it was so much fun! Just knowing a voice of I can make a difference. Just speaking up is important. I learned we can make change. Group was good. I learned that a leader is someone listens and help others. I learned how the democratic process works. I learned that I can go to the Capitol. It is my building too. I learned that people listen to me.

  • Comments: I learned a leader speaks the truth; I learned that IPSII is great; I learned what a leader is by listening and show my skills and support to the group; IPSII is a great alternative to people wanting to make changes in his or her life! A leader is supposed to do in his/her community when it comes to people with disabilities; IPSII is a great contribution to the community; When you notice you are getting turned down more step up and ask questions;Through IPSII I learned we are not alone even when you think you are; Coming to this meeting is helpful; A leader is someone who standing up for everyone; I learned that only one voice can make a difference; A leader is trustworthy; I learned about how IPSII works for the community; Thank you I really benefited from this class; I learned that a leader is an advocate; I learned a lot; I learned how to be a better advocate for my children and others.

On Eagles Wings 1st Graduate Training

Emergency Preparedness

This was IPSII Inc.’s 1st training designed for graduates from the On Eagles Wings program who wanted to learn how to keep themselves, their families and their community safe in emergency events.

  • Comments: I learned about CERT; I learned a lot; I want a Go Kit; I want to be a CERT; When is the next CERT training; I want to go to the Capitol and get funding for Go Kits and training; Everyone should have a Go Kit; How can I get a Go Kit? Respect others if you want to be respected. I learned how to approach someone with autism [video]; I learned how to develop my own emergency preparedness plan; I learned that IPSII develops programs to help community with disabilities with situations; Thank you for these informational classes; I learned to keep my family safe; I learned that IPSII reaches out to people of color to get them what they need; Let’s set up a group to get emergency to go kits for everyone; I will be prepared; I learned a lot; Thank you;I am going to get my daughter an ID bracelet.
